Hi, I’m Melissa the heart and owner behind Moments by Melissa Ann.
I believe the most meaningful photographs aren’t perfectly posed or planned. They live in the in-between moments — the laughter, the quiet connection, the way your people look at one another when no one’s watching.
Photography found me during a season when I learned just how fleeting time can be. It shaped the way I see moments with my own family and the everyday memories I never want to take for granted. That perspective is what I bring into every session — slowing things down and honoring life exactly as it is.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family or outside with my two dogs, Maverick and Goose. They remind me daily to stay present, to embrace the chaos, and to find joy in the simple moments - values that naturally carry into my work.

My approach
I specialize in family and couples and wedding photography, creating images that feel natural, heartfelt, and timeless. My sessions are relaxed and gently guided, designed to help you feel comfortable and connected - never stiff or over-posed. You don’t need to know what to do. Just show up as you are, and I’ll take care of the rest.
